MultiChoice Malawi to host Zee World night
MultiChoice Malawi has organized the first of its kind, Zee World Namaste night where subscribers will celebrate Indian culture through the television channel.
This will be the social interactive event where Zee World Malawi fanatics will share their Namaste (Indian) experience with other fanatics around Africa and across the world.
Scheduled for November 19 at the Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe, the event will see MultiChoice subscribers having a special treat from India through Zee World, according to MultiChoice local office.
“Malawi Zee World fanatics are requested to go MultiChoice Malawi Lilongwe office and get their pass to the Namaste night on first come first serve basis.
This invitation is for both DStv and GOtv subscribers ‘as long as their account is active they will be given the invitation card’.
“We have also organised this interactive event to create a platform where Zee World Malawi fanatics can share their experiences, share the Zee World stories and know each other personally. Most of them know each other after interacting through different Zee World Facebook pages.
“Mind you, the event is beyond Malawi since Zee World Africa will post photos and interactions of the event including the activities on their Zee World official website,” said MultiChoice Malawi’s sales and marketing manager, Chimwemwe Nyirenda.
He said Zee World fanatics around the world will join the interaction by commenting or posting information on Zee World’s different Facebook pages.
Launched in February this year, Zee World is currently one of the most watched channels on both DStv and GOtv.
The channel, which is available on GOtv Plus channel 25 and DStv on channel 166, has dramatic and thrilling content as well as award-winning shows like Saloni, Laali, The Promise and Destiny with a wide collection of star studded blockbuster Bollywood movies.
The channel also has other genres such as food, reality and will be adding health shows and other world series soon.
